Wow.... I got a little choked up looking at this. I know the squirrel is supposed to be the focal point... but what got me was the comparison between the live tree and the painted tree on the I-10 columns. I can only imagine what Claiborne looked like when it was a tree-lined avenue booming with black businesses. Before the city decided to destroy it all to construct the interstate.....
